Weightless hack and slash combat in VR.

Fend off against enemies while exploring this strange land. This prototype showcases this new way of combat in a survival action setting. 

This is an early prototype I wanted to get out to the hands of the public. It's been almost 3 years since I've started this project. Let's see what you think 🙂

Many of the mechanics have taken a long time to implement, but the core game play has been pretty much cobbled together. Would love suggestions on what people would like to see what this may become.

Tried it and it's basically Gorn's movement (grab-to-move) with lower gravity. I don't see anything new in terms of locomotion. Please correct me if I have misunderstood.  

I'm not against making a melee game with grab-to-move mechanic. Quite the opposite, I'd love to see more melee games with different setting. 

However although I love Gorn's locomotion, be aware that it had been criticized heavily on release and they're forced to include thumbstick control.

I guess the idea is that by using the palm of your hands facing the direction you want to push air backwards, you'll get more force (as opposed to using say, the back of your hand). You can then do all sorts of creative things like jumping, ducking down, leaping, dodging & running circles around your enemy.

Also by using two hands, pulling from front to back in a circular motion, it can give you a huge force and allows you to cover lots of ground or manoeuvre quickly.

Interesting point on the thumb-stick control aspect. I'll keep this in mind but would rather the game centred around the movement as opposed to the combat.
